The US Senate just passed the tax bill and it is now on its way to the House. The bill included an extension of  Sec. 25C credit for energy-efficient improvements to existing homes but it will go back to the credit as it existed before passage of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. That means it will no longer be 30% up to $1500 and will now be 10% up to $500 for energy efficient improvements.
