Hood River Electric Coop
Hood River Electric Cooperative offers rebates for energy-efficient upgrades, including air-source and ductless heat pump installations. McDowell & Son installs qualifying systems and will assist you with all the rebate documentation to ensure you get the incentives you’re eligible for.
Northern Wasco County PUD
Northern Wasco County PUD offers rebates for qualifying ductless and air-source heat pump installations. McDowell & Son is an approved contractor and can help you navigate the rebate application process.
Wasco Electric Cooperative
Wasco Electric Cooperative provides incentives for energy-efficient heating upgrades, including ductless and air-source heat pumps. We help ensure your project qualifies and handle the paperwork for you.
Cascade Locks PUD
Cascade Locks PUD offers rebates for homeowners who install ductless and air-source heat pumps. McDowell & Son will make sure your installation meets the program requirements and submit the incentive documents.
Klickitat PUD
Klickitat PUD supports energy efficiency upgrades with rebates for ductless and air-source heat pump systems. McDowell & Son installs qualifying equipment and assists you with the rebate process from start to finish.
Skamania County PUD
Skamania County PUD provides rebates for air-source and ductless heat pump systems. As an approved contractor, McDowell & Son helps customers take full advantage of these energy-saving incentives.
Federal Tax Credits
The federal residential HVAC tax credits (IRS §25C and §25D) ended for equipment placed in service after December 31, 2025, so new heating and cooling systems installed in 2026 do not qualify. If you installed qualifying equipment in 2023–2025, see IRS guidance or a tax professional for tax-return questions. The utility and Energy Trust incentives above may still be available.
